Know the legitimate routes.

Start with the source, not the promise.

Legitimate routes fall into different categories: paid Robux, eligible gift-card value, supported transfers, subscription bundles that explicitly include Robux, and earnings from compliant creation. They are not all “free”, and they are not all available to every account.^[1][6][8][9]

This page describes those categories. It has no checkout, reseller listings, referral offers or reward claims.

Paid options and gift cards.

Roblox offers Robux through its own supported purchase channels. The package and final local-currency total shown for your account are the details to check. Do not treat a screenshot of someone else’s offer as your price.^[1]

Already have a gift card? Follow Roblox’s redemption guide and check that you are signed in to the intended account. The browser route uses Roblox’s own redemption page; the standard mobile app and consoles do not provide that route, although the Samsung Galaxy app has a supported exception. Never enter a gift-card PIN on this site.^[8]

Plus, bundles and legacy Premium.

As checked on 28 September 2026, standard Roblox Plus does not include monthly Robux. Optional Plus 500, Plus 1000 and Plus 2000 bundles include the stated recurring amount. Check the exact plan, billing period and renewal settings rather than relying on the word “subscription”.^[6]

New Premium sign-ups ended on 30 April 2026. Existing subscribers may retain their plan and monthly stipend, but cannot re-subscribe after cancelling. The former Premium bonus on additional Robux purchases ended on 30 May 2026.^[7]

A useful habit: copy the plan name, total recurring charge and renewal date into a private note before deciding. An optional subscription is an ongoing commitment, not a reason to increase your budget.

Gifts through Roblox’s transfer feature.

Roblox Plus subscribers can send supported Robux transfers; recipients do not need Plus. Age checks, parent approvals and limits apply and may differ by region. Consult the current transfer article and the account’s own prompts, rather than assuming one age rule applies throughout Europe. Completed transfers cannot be reversed, and received transfers are not eligible for DevEx.^[9]

Do not use transfers to pay someone who claims they will “verify”, unlock or repair your account. This guide never requests a transfer.

Can you earn Robux yourself?

Creation is the route to learn about: building an experience or making eligible avatar items. It takes actual work, and account requirements, fees and platform rules can apply. Publishing something does not guarantee that anyone will use or buy it.^[1][10]

Choose a first skill before choosing an earnings target. For example, learn to place objects, make a small challenge playable and describe it clearly. The creator chapter breaks those steps down without promising income.

What not to confuse with a legitimate route.

A “generator”, password survey, browser-cookie request or download promising instant currency is not a shortcut. Roblox specifically warns against generator schemes and deceptive free-currency offers.^[15]

An experience’s own reward code might refer to its own items or points. Read what the code actually grants; the existence of a code box is not evidence that it issues Robux.
